About Jane
I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years. With increased commitment to the practice over time, I noticed that I felt wide awake and energetic whilst also feeling calm, happy and content and the sense of wellbeing stayed with me, beyond the mat for the rest of the day. With yoga now an integral as part of my everyday life, I sleep better and I feel more contented and joyful. My mind is less busy, so I am more focused & productive.
Yoga makes my life work better for me!
In response to realising the benefits I have gained from yoga, I completed a 200 hour Seasonal Hatha yoga teacher training course. Since then I have undertaken continuous professional development, including a brilliant teen yoga & mindfulness course and yoga nidra (yogic sleep) foundation course. Every year I attend further training, workshops and retreats to support my teaching and deepen my own yoga practice.
I am passionate about making yoga accessible and affordable to all, and taking it out of the studio. I teach yoga in a variety of environments: from gyms and spas to local community centres, lunchtime yoga classes in the workplace plus weekly classes for a wonderful mental health charity. I love to teach introductory and foundation classes to new and returning students and have had great feedback when teaching chair yoga in the workplace.
I am forever a yoga student and thank my teachers and students - past, present and future, including my father who practiced yoga daily, both on and off the mat.
I look forward to meeting you on the mat. Namaste, Jane
